Genre-blurring culture-shifting Los Angeles pop singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Gia Woods heats up 2019 with the release of her brand new single Jump The Fence

In case you haven’t made her acquaintance just yet, the 22-year-old queer Persian songstress arrives with the power to shake up sonic and societal stereotypes one banger at a time.
In particular, “Jump The Fence” climbs out of a throwback beat and into a sassy, spirited, and sexy refrain. Her energetic cadence hops over slick production as she chants,
“I’m going to jump the fence, won’t second guess… I’m going to jump the fence, fuck the rest”
Meanwhile, the kinetic, sci-fi-style video intercuts scenes of her seemingly levitating to kissing a female lover between the barrier of a clear plastic box. In subtle, yet colorful fashion, it speaks to themes of female empowerment, sexual freedom, and extinguishing taboo with style and substance.
