Nashville, Tenn. (August 28, 2020) – Singer-songwriter, Ethan Payne released the official music video for Luke’s Guitar exclusively premiered by Sounds Like Nashville.
“This song means the world to me, and it’s not just about Luke’s guitar. That’s obviously the title of the song, and it talks about my specific circumstances and experiences. The guitar is my clutch and I kinda feel different when I have it with me,” Ethan explains exclusively via Digital Journal. “A lot of people have that one item in their life that makes them feel good and makes them feel like nothing’s gonna stop them. That guitar will always mean the world to me.”
“The tender track is all about how that guitar is more than a few pieces of wood and steel. It’s a machine for hope and proof that dreams really can come true, and Payne captures the sentiment in a touching new video.” – Sounds Like Nashville
“When life’s too hard and all my stars are out of reach / I’m in too deep, I just can’t stop sinking / I start to play and all my pain just fades away / I don’t break, when I’m hanging on by the last string / It’s crazy how it saves my hopeless heart / Luke’s guitar,”
Luke’s Guitar available via all streaming platforms.
Payne also appeared on the 17th season of ABC’s American Idol on ABC in 2019, where he reunited with Bryan to perform “Do I” once again. He has since been making trips to Nashville and co-writing songs for an upcoming album project releasing in the future.
