Blurry Paige dons the Grim Reaper’s cloak for a thrilling day at a theme park in Glenwood Springs, Colorado, in the music video for her latest single, “Reaper.”
This unique track blends funky beats with bold, striking vocals, pairing her raw voice with vivid instrumentals to elevate the song’s message of embracing life head-on. The “Reaper” video brings this theme to life with imaginative, energetic visuals, capturing a sense of carefree adventure as Blurry Paige explores a theme park and wanders through a graveyard on a spontaneous detour. The video’s vibrant playfulness syncs perfectly with the song’s catchy beat, creating an experience as lively as it is memorable.
Shot with the help of her cousins – a creative partnership reminiscent of their childhood projects – the video was directed by Shannon Tausch, edited by Blair Robinson, starring Juwan Holmes, Meghan Tausch, and Shannon Tausch, with makeup by Meghan Baribeau. “Reaper” encourages listeners to face the unknown confidently, leave doubts behind, and live fully in the moment. The video, now streaming on YouTube, complements the single that is available on all major platforms worldwide.
“This is a carpe diem song. My vision for the video was to portray Death living life in a theme park. The cemetery shots were totally unplanned. We were walking through the neighborhood for some extra B-roll shots when we stumbled upon Doc Holliday’s gravesite. We just had to go in, and those scenes became some of my favorites. This video was completely created by my cousins and I, a big part of our childhood was creating short films at home, so making this project came naturally to us.” – Blurry Paige
