About the Author
Ruthie wrote her first short story when she was five. It was terrible, but she didn’t stop. Much to her parents’ dismay, she got a degree in creative writing and wrote many more short stories. Many were bad, but some were actually kind of good.
Ruthie has been a teacher’s aide, a grant writer, and a massage therapist, among many other things. She currently lives on the West Coast and has two badly behaved dogs.
When she’s not writing, Ruthie enjoys singing and playing guitar, drawing, and avoiding the crushing weight of adult responsibilities.

A road trip with your hero—what could go wrong?

Charlie is beyond thrilled when he's assigned to take his literary hero on a ten day trip through the mountains of West Virginia to help the author research his next book. A paid vacation with his celebrity crush seems too good to be true—and he quickly finds it is.

Ezra McKinnon has a reputation for being a brilliant writer—and a bit of a diva. After the runaway success of his first novel, Ezra suddenly finds himself spending his time partying instead of writing.  Ezra feels the pressure to replicate the success of his first book, and the last thing he needs is a traveling companion who can't seem to shut up—and who Ezra can't keep his hands off.
Between car breakdowns and hotel room mix-ups, the disastrous trip forces the two men to work together. Around Charlie, Ezra finally feels comfortable letting go of his celebrity persona, and Charlie thinks he may have found a guy who treats him well. But as soon as they're back home, things start to fall apart.
Will their fledgling relationship survive the real world, or was this just a brief road trip fling?

Grumpy, pricky and so lovely
I just couldn't put it down to get some sleep. I just kept reading and reading till I was finished.

My God that was captivating. Charlie and Ezra....damn they were fighting and arguing and hated each other....and not....
They were so hot together I just couldn't stop reading.

Ezra an award winning author taking a trip to the area where his new book will be about, with Charlie who was born in that part as his tour guide.

Charlie adored Ezra because he was his favorite author. And traveling with the man he never met in real life would be just...... so Charlie put the whole travel itinerary together.

It started all wrong...Ezra with a big hangover and Charlie fresh and ready to start the journey.
Ezra fucking prickly arrogant Ezra. He was always moody, grumpy and irritated by Charlie.
Charlie always talking and organizing something and working on Ezra's nerves.
And the poor guy was only himself, grumpy, honest, witty, dedicated...over-organized and realizing that he was, again, not enough. Always the doormat.
They irritated the hell out of each other.

Charlie was so fucking endearing it hurts, but he has such a low self esteem that hurts more.
It did something to my stomach.....sometimes fluttering.... but also nausea..... I could cry for him.

They made trips because the schedule says so even when they didn't want to and always making the other feeling irritated or even miserable.

Between all their arguments deep down they appreciate each other. And after an evening with to much beer and an angry kiss...they fucked each other's brain out.

I don't want to spoil the story away. But believe me it's witty, funny, cranky, very entertaining and damn steamy, try to imagine two special guys, brats, big ego's always arguing and hot for each other.

They are absolute not flawless more the opposite and on the other side they are so vulnerable and lovable.

After the journey is over they made a promise, only real life is fucking with them and everything goes down.....badly down.

I really REALLY loved this story, it had just everything in it I hoped for.
It was a smooth, very entertaining written story with 'gorgeous' personalities.
Highly recommended for the ones who love a not to heavy story with just the right pressure, with characters who fight and mince each other into pieces and with enough steam. I felt very content after finishing this story. (I read it twice)

Ohhh and if you has the HEA (also witty :)
